A BANDCAMP EXCLUSIVE RELEASE

You can find our over-zoomed video we created for this here: youtu.be/zKsVLRKlPpo

The Vanrays were midway through recording a new collection of songs when the whole world shut down, so we’ve finished Shake My Hand online as our EastVan Soul Social Distancing Anthem.

This is not a final version by any means. We had recorded bed tracks for our new record. These are the scratch vocals off the floor. The horn parts were recoded on webcam as part of the video project and mixed in the video editing software. Final vocals, Horns, BG vocals and more are yet to come, but we wanted to give you something while the world is on hold.

It's a nod in the direction, when all the shoes had leather souls. And to when those shoes were twisting, to Otis and to James. And so now do, The Vanrays too, we are here to do the same. ... more
